Corporate Leadership-A Deeper Shade of Green

Posted by 1worldteam on February 21, 2009

It is leadership when the CEO of a large company asks their board if they can forfeit their own 11.7 million bonus— leave that to General Electric’s (GE) Jeff Immelt , to set the example. More than being a company that is striving for transparency and to be environmentaly responsible, what was just thought to be a marketing campaign “Eco-magination” may indeed be more .  Is  the  “Green” giant GE, turning a deeper shade of green

GE, parent to NBC/Universal has decided not to accept money, or ask for relief  from the governemnt’s Troubled Assets Relief Program, TARP like other corporations. Where executive payouts are in the billions and the payouts and losses don’t seem to call many on Wall Street to repent, Immelt displays a rare commodity these days; virtue.  Leadership is more than good decisions for the company, ideally it is good decisions in the best interest for ALL.. GE did need money like the others but instead of taking from the government accepted an infusion of 3 billion from billionaire Warren Buffet. It is obvious why President Obama chose Immelt to be on the Economic Recovery Advisory Board

Time to Face Change

Posted by 1worldteam on December 25, 2008

Where Does Strength Come From?

"One who gains strength by overcoming obstacles possesses the only strength which can overcome adversity. " Albert Schweitzer

Thought this would be a good day for this blog to be born into the world for the whole World Team Project.

Change

We are about change, and we are bringing in the New Year with a new name for our non-profit 501c3 organization, “World Team Now”. “Team World Corps” will be replaced by “World Team Now”.

Project Branding

“World Team Now” will help us build the “World Team” Project’s brand, as we have the copyright with USPTO of the name “World Team” for our multi-media project. We have been using the name “World Team” in commerce since 1989.

Secretary of State-Registrations
“World Team Now” is registered in New York as a public charity with the Secretary of State. We are listed both as “Team World Corps” & “World Team Now” in New York State.

We are in process with our home state, California to be listed as: “World Team Now, instead of, “Team World Corps”.

Our History

We began as the California non-profit Team World Corps, which officially started up in 2005, and we were granted our 501c3 status right before 2007.

The Holidays

A prayer for: consciousness, the Holidays and the Light that illuminates man’s and nature’s world.

May the Light be in you, and may you shine it out to the world. It takes a team…

Happy Holidays!
